Did you know that Sacyr is the only company that has calculated its water footprint?
Find out how much water you use directly in your everyday life.
Your direct consumption is X m3 per year
The average water consumption of a citizen in Spain is 150 litres per day, that is, almost 55 m3 per year.
However, according to a study by EAE Business School, 96% of water is consumed indirectly and 4% directly through activities such as drinking, bathing, washing, cleaning, watering or cooking.
To give you a rough idea, the global average water footprint to produce a cup of coffee is 130 liters of water (about the same amount of water you consume in a day).
Therefore, your total annual water consumption would be X m3 per year (the equivalent to X% of the Paris 2024 Olympic pool, which adds up to 2,500 m3 of water).
