Cogeneration

We carry out projects in which electrical and thermal energy is produced simultaneously in a highly efficient manner, providing the industrial sector with a lever to improve both its sustainability and profitability.

 

Due to the simultaneous production, its efficiency far exceeds that of the case in which electrical and thermal energies are produced independently.

 

A cogeneration plant should result in fuel savings of at least 10 % compared to the alternative, although much higher savings can be achieved.

Biomass

In the energy context, biomass is organic matter originating from a biological process that can be used as an energy source.

 

Biomass resources are usually of agricultural or forestry origin, although they can have other origins, such as municipal solid waste and sewage sludge. A common characteristic of all of them is that they do not usually have alternative uses.

 

Biomass can be valorized energetically through combustion and, through it, produce electricity, thermal energy or both simultaneously.

 

Technological advances in recent years have made their conversion yields similar to those of facilities using fossil fuels.

Biogas

Another way to valorize biomass energy is by anaerobic digestion.

 

This produces biogas composed mostly of methane. Water treatment plant sludge, municipal solid waste and livestock waste are often used for this purpose.

Photovoltaic projects

Photovoltaic energy is obtained by converting sunlight into electricity. It is a type of renewable energy, and therefore inexhaustible, non-polluting and very economical.

The generation of this type of renewable energy avoids CO2 emissions.

Wind power projects

Wind power plants convert wind into electrical energy. Wind energy has the same virtues as photovoltaic energy, i.e. it is inexhaustible, non-polluting and very economical compared to non-renewable alternatives.

Its contribution to the electric power generation mix is reducing the use of fossil fuels and therefore the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere.
