Sustainability

In our roadmap,  ESG criteria are one of the main pillars of the company's Strategic Plan.

Sacyr Water is fully committed to the Water Positive initiative, which aims to transform the approach to water resource management, and to do so in a more efficient, innovative and sustainable way, with the aim of having a positive impact on ecosystems.

The Sacyr Group was the first company in the infrastructure sector to have its Water Footprint certified with AENOR, and we are Water Positive because we generate water from desalination and reuse, which helps mitigate the effects of drought and climate change in areas of marked water stress.
