As part of our commitment to innovation and the development of sustainable solutions for water management, Sacyr Agua Chile participated in the Demo Day for the open innovation call for proposals on “Water Security and Efficiency,” organized by ACADES.
At this event, Water Utilities Manager Gustavo Gómez and Head of Quality and Environment Enrique Vergara served on the jury tasked with evaluating the proposals submitted by the 14 finalist companies, which presented technological solutions to address some of the water industry’s main challenges.
The initiatives focused on four key areas: monitoring and early fault detection, prediction and optimization of water processes, recovery of brine and wastewater streams, and the reuse of membranes and operational waste, promoting efficiency and the circular economy in desalination processes.
The event brought together company representatives, establishing itself as a platform for collaboration among companies, entrepreneurs, and innovators to advance the future of sustainable water management in Chile.
The outcomes of this meeting will help define the next steps for the development and implementation of new solutions that strengthen water security and operational efficiency in the sector.
