Last June iFriday, we got an update on the progress of some of the innovation projects focused on sustainability that Sacyr has executed in the past year. Solutions that allow us to answer to our challenges and in our endeavor of changing the world.

From grey to green. From carbon to hydrogen. From Paris to the rest of the world. Renewable gases such as biomethane or green hydrogen will be the main characters in the following years. Clean energies that find in innovation the perfect ally to reach a common goal: to be carbon neutral by 2050.

Many industrial effluents, contaminated by metals, such as acid drainage from mining and other industries (metallurgy, metal plating, fuel, energy, fertilizer, etc.) can be treated with biowaste from animals and plants. It is incredible how nature devises sustainable solutions to regenerate itself.
